Softeam’s Punto™ 1.8.2 provides you with all the tools you need to create quality embroidery.  All sorts of embroideries, e.g., logos, brand names, monograms, can be created in a quick and easy manner.
You can also create drawings and artwork on the screen, starting either from a blank worksheet or by tracing a template, which is a color image acquired through use of a scanner.  You can either work manually or use the auto-trace function (which will be available in the forthcoming version of the application).  Punto™ includes freehand drawing tools (pen and pencil), tools for drawing simple geometric shapes (rectangles, squares, circles, ovals), and other very unique instruments designed specifically to assist you during the embroidery process.
Once you have created a new element, you can apply a wide range of embroidery effects, such as runnings, fills and satins.  For each effect, you can choose several parameters, i.e., the stitch density and length, the begin and end points, and so forth.
Obviously, you can at any time modify the elements you have created, e.g., paths, effects, single stitches, by means of the easy-to-use Macintosh user interface.
Then, once the embroidery design is complete, you can transfer it to paper tape, floppy disk or directly to an embroidery machine.
Punto enables you to operate single-head embroidery machines to produce small items or embroidery samples with the same precision, reliability and speed you could get from multi-head embroidery machine.
Punto is unique in that it provides great flexibility during the design phase of the embroidery process.
